We are proud to announce Clarion Wealth Planning has been awarded corporate Chartered financial planner status for the eighth year in a row.
Fewer than 1,000 companies across the UK have been granted the prestigious status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
Our director of operations Adam Wareing explained: “The accreditation is the gold standard in financial planning. The CII has recognised our commitment to professional standards, best practice and our customer-first approach. Clarion adheres to a code of ethics, exceeds the standards expected and promotes corporate social responsibility.”
As part of the corporate Charter requirements, we are expected to contribute to the development of the profession; support initiatives that build public trust; and invest in our staff ensuring they have the necessary technical competence, expertise and qualifications to provide the best possible advice to clients.
To qualify, we needed not only to demonstrate to the CII we meet the required standards but also new for 2020 that at least half of our advisers are Chartered Financial Planners as individuals themselves.
Adam added: “The status is a badge of professionalism and reassurance for our clients they are working with a company committed to highest industry standards. Indeed, we are proud to exceed the CII’s requirements with 60 per cent of our financial planners and three quarters of our associate financial planners are Chartered Financial Planners in their own right.”
