Meet Andrea Billington

What is your role at Clarion?

I manage Front of House at our offices in Alderley Edge. A big part of my role is meeting and greeting clients. I also support the Head of Operations and manage general administrative duties.

How did you take your first steps in to financial planning?

I started my working career working at a Chartered Accountants, so have always worked in the finance sector in one way or another.

Clarion is the first company I have worked for that specialises in financial planning.

What do you think Clarion offers its clients that makes us unique?

We really take care of our clients and always strive to deliver a quality, long-term service for them and their families.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learnt in your role?

That attention to detail is key.

I also like to keep up to date with technology, which helps to ensure that, administratively, we run as efficiently as possible.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I always wanted to join the police force, but in my day, there was a height restriction to join and I wouldn’t have been eligible!

Who has inspired you in your life and why?

My family, without a doubt.

What keeps you awake at night?

If something hasn’t gone to plan, or if I have forgotten to do something, it plays on my mind and I find it difficult to sleep.

Describe your perfect weekend

It would be a nice country walk followed by a pub lunch with family or friends.

Spring, summer, autumn or winter?

Am I allowed two? Spring and Autumn.
